AXIS#.SAFEPARAM.SBT.MAXMOTIONBRAKE#

Description

Indicates the amount of rotation that should occur for the shaft attached to the specified brake. If the amount of motion detected is larger than this specified amount, the Safe Brake Test (SBT) will enter a failed state and the Safe Brake Acknowledge (SBA) signal is low.

The drive will still be allowed to be enabled and command motion. It is up to the safety system to prevent motion in the event of a failed/expired SBT (ie: SBA signal).

*Note: MAXMOTIONBRAKE cannot be set to a greater or equal value than 10800 arcminute. Otherwise, the SMM will return an error code once SBT function is started. The error code can be read by the keyword AXIS#.SAFE.SBT.ERROR, which will report “0x6 – SMM System Error”.
